Today, there is a modern Lasik known as iLasik Procedure. The iLasik Procedure uses two lasers instead of one, as in earlier versions of the procedure. At the first step of this new procedure, iLasik uses wave-front technology to map the unique characteristics of the individual’s eyes. Then the computer-guided laser, an ultrafast, will create a corneal flap. This laser makes the procedure exceptionally safe because of they replaces the handheld microkeratome blade, which used in older forms of Lasik.
