Apple iPad official details
Apple’s iPad first official details trickle out

Apple is finally pulling back the curtain to reveal the iPad bit by bit. Here’s few details:
1. It’ll have a 1 GHz Apple A4 processor, 9.7-inch IPS display, come in flavors from 16 to 64 GB storage-wise, feature wireless N and Bluetooth 2.1 and 3G, and it’ll be weigh 1.5 pounds and 0.5-inches thick. Apparently, it’ll also get 10 hours of battery life on a good day. Also, it stands up like a vertical laptop with a keyboard attachment.
2. It’ll have apps. Apps you run will appear iPhone-sized on the display that are designed for the iPhone, though you can blow them up to two times their size. There will also be iPad support added, which is happening today, to Apple’s app development kit.
3. Apple has been showing off a few specific apps, such as games by Gameloft, a company that develops games ranging from movie ports to original properties, and from other outfits, including a score tracker for the MLB and a virtual version of the New York Times, which takes advantage of the iPad’s roomy screen to preserve the layout. Something for magazine publishers to get excited about? Apple will also be offering iBooks using the opensource epub format on its iBook Store.
4. Finally is come to pricing. Starting at $499, you can get your very own iPad with no contract. You’ll still have to pay for data, though: “Unlimited data $29.99. 250MB for $14.99. Free use of AT&T WiFi. Activate on iPad. No contract. Cancel anytime.”
The Wi-Fi iPad will ship worldwide in 60 days, with the 3G iPad launching in 90 days. What seems like a fully-loaded iPad, a 3G model with 64 GB of storage, will cost $829.

Alot of bloggers aren’t very happy with this new iPad.There was 2 much hype about it and lots of people got turned off.You see, I can actually see great deal of the awesome potential uses of this gizmo. Third-party applications for working with music, games, newspapers and magazine and FFS books, tons of neat stuff, but they failed to sell it properly (aside from the books). It smells kind of incomplete
