Available on May 12, Asus EeePC 900
After first series of EeePc that has series as Asus EeePc 700, then on this May 12, Asus is going to launch the new EeePC 900 mini laptop in the US. This EeePC 900 will come with a 8.9-inch display in resolution 1024×600. It has 12 Solide State Drive (SSD), 1GB of memory for Windows version and 20GB SSD with 1 GB Memory for Linux Version. The costs is $549, you can also get a SD card slot and a 1.3 Megapixel web camera.
While the new EeePC 900 comes with a 8.9-inch screen on 12 May for $549, it is said that the 10-inch version of Asus is going to launch also later this year. Whether this is confirmed and when will it be available, no words yet on.
Asus EeePC 901 has Atom
In 3rd June 2008, Asus is also going to release latest update to EeePC series, powered by Intel’s Atom processor that is the EeePC 901. This new Eee PC 901, according to DigiTimes, will only have EeePC logo. At a price below NT$20,000 (US$650), it will be launched .
