Earthdesk, the earth’s real-time view
Most of us want something slightly classier probably, while it is interesting to see the photos of kid grinning like a fool or latest vacation. There is a typical wallpaper of the Earth in both night and daylight mode, called Earthdesk. But you’ll notice something that the Earth moves across your screen, as you work throughout the day, with continents going out and in of darkness. The shading of night and daylight has the accurate, which causes cities around the world to light up.
Earthdesk uses time zone and geographic stats at three hour intervals to display real-time global cloud cover. This is allowing you to see smoke created by major fires or track hurricanes. You can switch the map projections if you are more interested in seeing the big blue marble from a different view, to show enhanced satellite, political, and natural maps.
If you are Windows users, you can span the map across multiple monitor screens. If you are using a Mac, you’ll get an added bonus, which you can display multiple maps across multiple screens. This means that to see if it is going to hit your political enemies, you can track that hurricane. Earthdesk might be a good gift idea for the budding geographer and it will only set you back $24.00.
