There are one step closer to reality the age of losing control of your daily travels to the whims of your robot-controlled car. So thanks to the innovators at Japan’s ZMP Inc.
ZMP Inc has just unveiled the RoboCar designed to be used in the development of larger robotically-controlled commercial vehicles. The Robotic Car, utilizing the Linux operating system features WiFi, CCD stereo cameras, eight infrared range sensors, a gyro sensor, and a three-axis acceleration sensor.
You probably won’t want to seriously entertain the RoboCar’s $6,119 price tag, unless you’re a major car maker. You can see video of the RoboCar in action here.
