You can draw on a MacBook
With a 13.3-inch screen, just take one MacBook. Replace the plastic LCD screen with scratch-resistant glass, remove the keyboarda, add Wacom graphic capabilities tablet, a digitized pen and software of Apple’s Inkwell handwriting recognition. And then? The Axiotron Modbook, a Mac graphics tablet that other arty types and graphics designers are going to drop their T-squares for.
This is the only Apple authorized Mac, as far as we know, that’s not sold by Apple. In several configurations it’s available, but for reasons that escape us, the basic sets all include GPS capabilities . With the graphics design, what does GPS have to do? A 2 GHz processor version runs $2,290 in all events, and a 2.2 GHz engine is $2,490.
You could add on a mouse and a keyboard and turn it into a full Mac back, but that’s be like removing the music to turn back into Pygmalion from My Fair Lady.
